The Austin Music Minute has it on good authority that, at tonight’s show at the Historic Scoot Inn, “a large amount of rock ‘n’ roll will be dropped” on the Scoot stage. That’s a lot – like, three times the rock. Can the room withstand such powerful weight? The guys will surely give it a shot.
Songwriter Elijah Ford wanted two of his favorite local bands to be on the bill for his last show of the year, and he got his wish. The night starts out with a set by MIRO at 9 p.m., followed by Elijah Ford and The Bloom at 10 p.m., then The Happen-Ins (featured on today’s AMM) closing out at 11 p.m. All tonight at the Scoot, 1308 E. 4th St., inside.
