Austin-based Eastern soul artist Nagavalli lifts her songs to transcendental levels through a combination of genres blending seamlessly with traditional East Indian styles, and this interest in a wide range of music has led to a variety of collaborations with other local artists. Naturally, a big event like Nagavalli’s Heart2Heart requires a bit of everything to make it a stellar evening, all in support of the American Heart Association for American Heart Month.
Tonight’s show at Stateside at The Paramount features performances by Blakchyl (featured on today’s AMM), Quentin Arispe, Chief Cleopatra, Somebody Someone, Shanik Huges, Lara Price, Adi Rao, Francisco Rosales, and Short Life. Doors at 7 p.m., with the music beginning at 8 p.m.
