Art Outside has become known more for the complete experience it provides, and not simply for being another festival. Artists from throughout the country and around the world come together for a momentous three-day weekend event, showcasing art spanning a variety of media and styles, including visual, interactive, performance, film and music. While the Austin Music Minute is focusing mainly on the musical portion of Art Outside, it’s important to note the entire festival experience and the interconnectedness of all its parts. Art Outside was created with the idea of bringing art outside of galleries and into unique alternative settings so that artists could network, share and collaborate.
