KUTX is taking over Mohawk tomorrow night, in a manner of speaking…
One look at Saturday night’s line-up at the Mohawk will have KUTX listeners going, “Wait. Don’t I know these guys?!”
Indeed you do! Three of the four bands in the line-up were recently featured as KUTX Artist of the Month: Ultra-funkified outer space groove cult Grandmaster in June, Columbian funk maestros Superfónicos in July, and chaotic post-punk hoodlums Big Bill in August.
And they all hit Mohawk’s outdoor stage tomorrow night, with songwriter Aaron Chávez‘s bedroom pop project Cloud Companion opening the show. Doors at 7:30 p.m.
