Who: Today’s Austin Music Minute is here to remind you it’s all about more musical discovery, and today’s recommendation is packed with all manner of awesomeness.
What: It’s a massive bill with two AMM faves, dark synth artists Borrisokane and KNIFIGHT, plus some bands you may not have seen before, like Pittsburgh-based trippy psych popsters The Van Allen Belt (featured on today’s AMM), LA surf punks Traps PS, and special guest, Chicago-based psych-pop artist Netherfriends.
When and where: It’s all going down tonight at Cheer Up Charlie’s, 900 Red River. Doors open at 8 p.m.
Why: There will be dancing. Lot’s of dancing. Get there early to see all of the bands. Very recommended.
