Summoning some of the enigmatic soul-searching of Between Two Worlds, Austin-based songwriter Evan Charles approaches the light in the distance with cautious optimism on his next solo release, Echoes at Dawn, out Sept. 12. As a special preview, Charles just released the title track to the new album today (as featured on the AMM), and celebrates with a single release show tonight at The 13th Floor on Red River. The line-up includes Austin artists Freund and Cheetah Cheetah (the latter featuring members of A. Sinclair, BOOHER, Mean Jolene and Other Vessels). Doors at 9 p.m.
