Who: Sabrina Ellis is a busy woman. You may have seen her owning the room as front woman for Sweet Spirit, or you may have seen her set the stage on fire with A Giant Dog, one of the most badass bands ever to put rock and punk in your face, and you like it. A lot.
What: A Giant Dog is heading out for some tour dates in New York City very soon, but you’ve got a chance to see them play before they leave town. Do it.
When and where: Tuesday night at The Swan Dive, 615 Red River. Doors open at 9 p.m., and this is such a killer line-up with Feral Future, Big Bill and the fabulous Popper Burns.
Why: All the loudness and passion and energy and reckless abandon is good for you. Get there early to see each and every one of these bands. Recommended.
