Consider this some lovely prep time for the big weekend. Fun Fun Fun Fest 2013 is only a few days away, along with a barrage of impressive bills for all the Fun Fun Fun Nites after-parties. The Nites, however, get a head start this Thursday just before the Fest with killer line-ups. The Austin Music Minute would like to recommend the following shows to whet your appetite:
– It’s gonna get rambunctious Thursday night at Red 7, 611 E. 7th St. with The Blind Shake, OBN III’s, Dikes of Holland and Shrines. Enough to rattle the eardrums and ribcage. Doors open at 9 p.m.
– More sonic annihilation for you just next door to Red 7 at Holy Mountain, 617 E. 7th St., with Title Fight, Code Orange Kids, Boyfrndz and Pushmen. Doors open at 9 p.m. Loud enough for you?
– Then lots more chaos round the corner at Beerland, 711 Red River, with Pop 1280, Ice Balloons, and my favorite, Crooked Bangs. Doors at 9.
