Today’s Love Austin Music Month feature tiene algo caliente para ti. Anybody who’s ever squeezed into Hotel Vegas‘ jam-packed Cumbia Night every third Saturday of the month knows that El Tule brings the heat that makes it so popular. El Tule’s blend of cumbia, merengue, salsa, reggae and Afro-Latin sounds has kept the crowds dancing for 20 years, at Cumbia Night and beyond. And so, the eight-piece band marks their anniversary with a live album release this weekend, though it’s a party with bittersweet vibes because it’ll be El Tule’s final show.
WHAT?! El Tule invites you to cumbia the house down Saturday, Jan. 20, at Hotel Vegas. The line-up includes Los Parranderos De La Kumbia, and DJ Pelón spinning between sets, along with DJ ULOVEI on the Vegas patio. Doors at 9 p.m.
