They’re turning heads with these voices. It’s Uncle Roy & Spice’s time to shine.
Even if this is the first time you’ve heard of Austin (by way of D.C.) duo Uncle Roy & Spice, you might have seen them perform with Sir Woman as backing vocalists for Kelsey Wilson. Talent recognizes talent, so collaborating with great artists like Wilson, Adrian Quesada and Dylan Meek was a perfect fit. All of it propelled the dynamic duo toward their own independent project.
With their latest release “Jump’n” Uncle Roy & Spice is creating a stir in the local scene, and their gonna show you how it’s done at their performance tonight, Saturday Sept. 7, at Far Out Lounge and Stage. It’s an excellent line up with Motenko, celebrating their new single “Free Yourself” from the forthcoming EP To Grow, and songwriter Egaux Sells, who opens the show at 9 p.m. Doors at 8 p.m.
