Holy Wire‘s Alain Paradis has all the waves crashing in his general direction: Coldwave, darkwave, new wave, no wave. Whatever wave. Perhaps a vibe oscillating between post-punk and electro-pop. Descriptors can be convenient, but they’re not important. Rather than pinpoint a specific genre, Paradis creates more from a place balancing electronic and intuitive design, seductive synth mining heartbreak you can definitely dance to.
