Howdy Gals 8th anniversary show, tonight at Hole In the Wall, with Andrew Cashen, Magic Rockers of Texas, Almost Heaven and Barb.
Howdy Gals has a lot to celebrate. The Austin-based women and non-binary run booking collective is dedicated to a far-reaching inclusivity, extending to diversity in shows, safety for all who attend/perform, providing a platform for local and up-and-coming artists, and a commitment to building community. Being genuine music fans with superb tastes doesn’t hurt, either.
The team is now eight years’ stronger, and they commemorate the milestone with their big Howdyversary party tonight at Hole In the Wall. No surprise that it’s an excellent line-up featuring Andrew Cashen, Magic Rockers of Texas, pop/post-punk duo Almost Heaven and indie rock artist Barb. Doors at 8 p.m. Howdy and welcome.
