“All My Time” makes the distance shorter with an ode to love that’s never far away.
Following her powerful self-portraiture Observations From A Crowded Room, examining the blessings and drawbacks of vulnerability through one’s art, Nashville-based folk-pop artist Joy Oladokun brought a new single into the world, “All My Time”. The heartfelt serenade is about missing loved ones from far away, and there’s no denying its connection to the countless hours Oladokun has spent touring. And most appropriately, it was written during some downtime at a music festival in Mexico, then recorded in the back of Oladokun’s tour bus.
This time, Oladokun’s travels bring her back to Austin for a performance tonight at the Scoot Inn on E. 4th. Doors at 7 p.m., with LA-based rock artist Luke Tyler Shelton opening the show.
