Don’t leave the earplugs at home. Levitation kicks off with hard shreds and high volume…
It’s here.
Levitation 2025 launches today at Palmer Events Center with a solid, heavy-ass line-up featuring an awesome mix of local bands like SKLOSS (the track “Veto Powder” is featured on today’s AMM), Rickshaw Billie’s Burger Patrol and The Sword, and touring artists including Detroit hardcore collective The Armed, Louisianna sludge metal outfit Acid Bath, and Atlanta metal masters Mastodon.
Can’t do the festival? There’s always Levitation’s night shows tonight, including The Dandy Warhols at Mohawk, Rose City Band at 29th Street Ballroom, Pixel Grip at Elysium, and Austin trio The Well at The 13th Floor.
AMM festival pick: A delightful way to start your day, Blood Incantation at 3:40 p.m., indoor stage. Melding prog and metal into bewildering interdimensional realms. Ambient death metal? Jump in, and mind your internal organs.
