The Austin Music Minute‘s Love Austin Music selection for today is a longtime AMM favorite and a band that delivers a sensational live performance: Cilantro Boombox. This is how you set the room on fire, blasting out infectious mixes of hip-hop, funk, electronic and Venezuelan styles to get the feet movin’. And you have the opportunity to experience it for yourself when you see them perform tonight at Barracuda, 611 E. 7th St. It’s a massive bill that includes the electrifying Houston musical duo Gio Chamba, mighty 9-piece Latin-influenced funk band Ex Romantika, and spins between sets with DJ Jah Karma. Doors at 9 p.m.
