Hip-hop/electro/R&B outfit Trouble In the Streets, featuring recent Project ATX6 inductee Nnedi Nebula Agbaroji, is releasing their second EP with a huge party presented by UtopiaFest tonight at The North Door, 501 Brushy St. Today’s AMM gave you a sample of the new music with the track, “Mad Science.” And the band’s seriously bringing out the badass SFX just for you – lights! – lasers! – tiny dancers! – wait, what’s that last one about? You’ll have to go to find out.
Trouble shares the bill with Blastfamous USA and DJ Charlie spins between sets. Doors open at 9 p.m. And don’t think you’re gonna be sitting down for this one. Now is the time when we must dance. Recommended.
