Who: Two Austin Music Minute favorites are on the bill for one outstanding evening, Houston 10-piece soul band The Suffers and Austin funk and soul groovers Latasha Lee & The Black Ties.
What: Both are performing, along with Houston-based rapper extraordinaire and DIY artist Fat Tony, in a big show curated by Matt Sonzala, connoisseur of all things rap and hip-hop and founder of the new magazine Pushermania, the first issue of which will be available at the show. Sonzala put the show together in conjunction with Red Bull Sound Select.
When: Tomorrow night (Wednesday)
Where: The Parish, 214 E. 6th St.
Why: This is gonna be one massive party all around, with spins between sets provided by the Sock Hop DJs. This is one not to miss. Very recommended.
