Party

The following is a statement made with no exaggeration: The poetry from the mind of Aldous Harding is precise in the way it crawls beneath one’s skin and mercilessly touches upon every single raw, exposed nerve. Which is to say, her songwriting is undeniably compelling and brilliant in its intellect and twisted sense of humor. If you know your Austin Music Minute maven at all, you’ll understand why Harding became an instant AMM favorite.

The New Zealand native is touring in support of her 2017 release, Party, and fortunately, that includes a stop in Austin for a show tonight at the Mohawk, 912 Red River. Local artists Krista Van Liew and Julia Lucille are on the bill.

This is one not to miss. Harding is renown for her live performances, which have often been described as an artist possessed by an unrivaled intensity that will leave you spellbound. Highly recommended.
