Austin is gearing up for another insanely busy weekend with Austin Pride Fest 2022, and you would expect no less. Following Austin Pride’s pool party banger Drip Drop 10 (shoutout to DJ Melissa Bellz), Beyond the Rainbow continues the celebrations on Saturday with the annual parade, and the big festival at Fiesta Gardens with an even bigger line-up of performances, including Chicago rapper and fest headliner Cupcakke. Daaamn!
But leave it to Cheer Up Charlie’s to get a head start on it all with Queue’d Up!, a fabulous show kicking off the weekend featuring Flora and Fawna, Jonny Jukebox (“TETRIS” from U > EVERYTHING ELSE is today’s spotlight track), Mama Duke, Dali Voodoo, DJ Orya and Babiboi. It’s all going down tonight, Thursday Aug. 18, at Cheer Up Charlie’s on Red River. Doors open at 9:30 p.m. LOUD and PROUD.
