Skateland album release show tonight t 3Ten ACL Live, with Somebody Someone and Holy Wire.
Songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Dorian Williams II, better known to fans as Skateland, just dropped his debut LP, Heavenly Bodies. Quite heavenly indeed. An ethereal mix of synth layers and dream pop riffs that would fit quite seamlessly in an ‘80s soundtrack, but it’s dreamy pop bliss in the here and now.
“Wednesday, Baby!” is featured on today’s KUTX Song of the Day, while the AMM picked “Manic Pixie Fever Dream” from the new album. But now it’s time for a Skateland release show to hear it all live tonight at 3Ten ACL Live. Featuring performances by Somebody Someone, and Holy Wire. Doors at 7 p.m.
