Who: Much excitement over Ghostbunny‘s forthcoming new album. Your humble Austin Music Minute host was given a sneak preview of the album in its entirety, and happy to report it’s been well worth the wait. More awesome grooves, bigger, fuller, and an overall tremendous rock/pop experience. (Got to hear it all on some massive speakers as well – an excellent test run.)
What: Time to turn the rainy Monday blahs around with what will no doubt be an excellent performance this evening. You’ll get to hear some of these new Ghostbunny tracks and more.
When & where: Tonight at Empire Control Room, 606 E. 7th St. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the bill includes Austin-based (partially by way of Vermont) soul/folk quartet The Love Sprockets and rock/blues band Southern Gold.
Why: Expect some great tunes from the mighty Ghostbunny. And the show is inside, nice and cozy. Very recommended.
