That is the energy you take from Riders Against the Storm. There are no musical boundaries or stifling structures for the husband and wife team. Chaka Mpeanaji and Tiger Lily operate on the power, or what you could call the funk, that radiates from within, making them an extraordinary presence in the local scene fueled by an innate desire to explore a variety of genres.
You may also recognize them as co-founders of phenomenal local monthly underground dance party Body Rock, alonside the mighty DJ Chorizo Funk.
