Here’s a great way to wind down your Tuesday evening, and it happens to be a weekly thing throughout May.
The spotlight is on lo-fi hood-rock hoodlum Wil Cope and mystery pop/honky tonk maestro (John) Wesley Coleman, both of whom you can see tonight and each Tuesday night this month at Nomad Bar, 1213 Corona Dr., just off of Cameron Rd.
Both Cope (Sunset Craves, Drunk Are the Stars, Mañana, 13 Songs [The Kitchen Tapes]) and Coleman (Greatest Hits) have been featured on the Austin Music Minute, and last March, Coleman gave an outstanding performance in KUTX’s Studio 1A. This makes for an excellent double bill. It’s a free show, and the music starts at 9 p.m. Don’t miss out.
