Austin Classical Guitar presents “This Heart” – Daniel Fears & Jiji, Saturday and Sunday at The Rosette.
KUTX Music Editor Jeff McCord recently interviewed Austin-based artist Daniel Fears and South Korean guitar prodigy Jiji, (Jiyeon Kim) about their musical collaboration This Heart, a project that led them to discover a commonality they had through spirituality, and faith-based traditions they were raised with – though they grew up worlds apart.
This weekend, Austin Classical Guitar will premiere their performance of This Heart heart with shows today, Saturday March 23 and Sunday, March 24, at The Rosette, 3908 Ave. B. There are two performances today, 4:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., and one tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. Find ticket information here.
