Your humble Austin Music Minute host took an instant liking to the dreamy, hazy, fluid psych vibes on Annabelle Chairleg‘s full-length debut, Watermelon Summer. As we bid farewell to summer, the band hits the road for their fall “Rain In the Brain” tour, with gigs in Chicago, Detroit, Philly, New York City, Brooklyn, and Nashville along the way. The tour comes to a close with a show in Denton at Rubber Gloves on Oct. 18th.
Make sure you catch Annabelle Chairlegs at their tour kickoff show tomorrow night at Hotel Vegas, 1501 E. 6th St., with Hollow Trees, The Moon Walks, and III Bones. A very good show, indeed. Recommended.
