Big Boi performs tonight at ACL Live at the Moody Theater, benefitting the Andy Roddick Foundation.
It’s a big show, indeed. This artist’s solo debut LP Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty was ranked #3 on Billboard’s top 200, with Pitchfork proclaiming it one of the best 100 albums in 2010. That was just the beginning for Atlanta-based rapper/producer and seven-time Grammy Award winner Big Boi, who rose to fame as one half of the duo Outkast, alongside Andre 3000. Big Boi’s extensive solo career includes numerous LP projects and several collaborations with artists like Adam Levine, Phantogram, Killer Mike, Jeezy and many others.
And tonight, Austin nonprofit The Andy Roddick Foundation hosts a performance by Big Boi at their benefit event at ACL Live at The Moody Theater, in support of the foundation’s after-school and summer learning programs. Doors at 7:30 p.m. Representing all night.
