If you were able to catch Pocket Sounds making their KUTX Studio 1A debut yesterday afternoon, you already know just how special the solo project of Mike St. Clair is. What we have here, quite frankly, is something alluringly complex. And magnificent.
Where he finds the time, no one knows, but he’s done it. In addition to performing with several bands, including Okkervil River and White Denim, and his many collaborations with a myriad of musical artists, the multi-talented St. Clair has composed some incredible tracks for his debut EP, You Are Not Alone. Don’t miss Pocket Sounds’ EP release show tonight at the Mohawk, 912 Red River, on the inside stage, featuring Royal Forest and Mountain Time on the bill. Doors at 8 p.m. Just as awesome live as it is on the new EP. Very recommended.
