Hayes Carll, freewheeling country singer/songwriter, has gained an ever-expanding audience since the release of his first album, “Flowers and Liquor,” in 2002, though his fame skyrocketed after his 2008 album, “Trouble in Mind,” garnered numerous accolades. Carll is from The Woodlands, Texas, and he currently calls Austin home. These days, he’s continuing his tour in support of his hit 2011 album, “KMAG YOYO,” taking his charming on-stage performances everywhere from rock clubs to honky tonk bars.
His fresh wit and unflinching honesty makes him an incredibly talented storyteller, which is why we were honored to have him play KUTX DJ for an hour. Listen to the songs Hayes Carll can’t live without RIGHT HERE!
