When it comes to the biggest wonders of the Austin Music Experience, few rank as high as White Denim. A decade back, the local legends entered international awareness after their song “Ha Ha Ha Ha (Yeah)” was placed in the Nintendo Switch reveal trailer, but their still as humble and hard-working as they ever were. And though founding singer-songwriter-guitarist James Petralli now calls California home, his heart is still right here in Texas. Simultaneously commemorating twenty years of White Denim and celebrating the release of their latest full-length 13, James Petralli stopped by his all time favorite radio station to share some of his personal heavy rotation tunes, including a few that helped shape songs on 13.
