Now that KUTX is over a dozen years old, it’s rare for us to bestow the title of Artist of the Month to a band that’s been around longer than us. But considering the release of their bold comeback Dreamers in Exile nearly two decades since their last album, Austin mainstays Voxtrot 100% earned the long overdue recognition as our March 2026 Artist of the Month.
Just prior to a busy SXSW and a national tour, Voxtrot vocalist-guitarist Ramesh Srivastava and drummer Matt Simon stopped by the KUTX studios to share some of their all-time favorites, including formative moments, memories tied to specific places, and tour playlist heavyweights.
