Slaid Cleaves [Ghost on the Car Radio] – 6:00pm @ Paramount Stateside

The music of Austin, Texas, based singer/songwriter Slaid Cleaves is rooted in traditional country and folk forms, but is distinct enough to have held interest amidst the sea of singer/songwriters across the 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s. Slaid celebrates the release of his latest album, Ghost on the Car Radio.

Spectral Sea [Stop/Start] – 9:00pm @ Mohawk

With a sound rooted in their mutual love of late 90’s-early 2000’s guitar rock, Spectral Sea crafts songs with guitars that evoke straight forward alternative rock with ambient transitions, a thunderous rhythm section, and melodic vocal hooks. Together, they aim to create a sound bigger than their individual parts. They recently finished their self-recorded debut EP, Stop/Start, an album that focuses on love, loss, the human experience, and the power of music.
