Even with the best intentions, staying true to your New Year’s resolution is hard. By now most people have abandoned and postponed them to next year. Though there are millions of possible resolutions, one thing unites and inspires us to do great things with the 365 fresh days. Music!
Year after year, Austin’s music scene produces newer and weird sounds inspiring Austinites to “Keep Austin Weird”. Weird music makes weird people, but perhaps the weirdest thing about Austinites is that we ACTUALLY follow through with our resolutions. Let’s say your resolution is to get moving. Postponing this would make you normal, a.k.a not a true Austinite. We don’t make the rules, that’s just the Austin way.
