Interview: Swamp Dogg

Jerry Williams, better known as Swamp Dogg, has been making a career in music since he began cutting records at the tender age of twelve. He’s still active sixty years later, celebrating new remasters of his seminal ’70s soul albums along with a treasure trove of music he produced on other artists, not to mention his next project: The White Man Made Me Do It.
Rick McNulty sat down with the spirited raconteur to discuss the hustle of the 12-year-old Jerry along with the stories behind his consummate work on records by C & The Shells and Wolfmoon and his nearly finished next album.
