Event Details
ADMISSION: FREE
LOCATION: Mueller Lake Park Amphitheater, 4550 Mueller Boulevard, Austin, 78723
GETTING THERE: Bussing is a great option! CapMetro busses 20, 10, and 350 all go through Mueller. Check CapMetro’s schedule for info and updates. Need to drive? Hourly parking is available in the McBee Garage across from the Thinkery, and metered City of Austin spaces are also available around the park.
PLEASE BRING:
Everyone: Water to drink and a blanket for sitting on the lawn. (Mueller likes to keep things natural, so we recommend a blanket thick enough to stand up to sticker burrs.)
If you’re bringing kids: We strongly recommend hearing protection for little ones (we try to keep the volume at a reasonable level, but this is a live concert, and kids love to dance near the stage/speakers.) Forgot your hearing protection? Swing by the KUTX tent for a pair of free earplugs, compliments of our supporters at RK Audiology.
FOOD: There are food trucks and restaurants around the park, and you’re welcome to bring a picnic dinner. BYO water and non-alcoholic beverages.
OK TO BRING: Coolers, picnic blankets, and stadium cushions (a.k.a., what we called “sit upons” at camp). Fur babies are more than welcome but must be on leashes.
NOT OK: Chairs, glass containers and alcohol are not permitted.
ACCESSIBILITY: KUTX reserves a visibly marked bench at the perimeter of the amphitheater for anyone who needs seating due to limited mobility, including pregnancy. ASL interpreters will be onsite to interpret as much of the scheduled performers’ content as possible. If you need additional accommodations or have concerns, please reach out. First Aid is available at the KUTX tent.
LOST KIDS: If you’re bringing kids, establish a meeting point should you become separated. We recommend the KUTX tent as a meeting point, and our hosts point it out during stage announcements. KUTX staff/volunteers will remain with your child at the tent until you are located. A sign onstage lets grown-ups know when there’s a missing child at our tent. This event is not fenced.
KEEP IT NICE: Limited recycling and trash will be available onsite. Please help us to leave the park as tidy as we found it, so that the residents of Mueller will continue to invite KUTX back for more concerts!
