KUTX is proud to support Altercation Comedy Festival. Launched in 2016, the Altercation Comedy Festival proved an immediate runaway success, with a scope to provide an intimate, fan and comic-first experience. Totally curated by Austin, TX comedy staple JT Habersaat, the 2017 Altercation Comedy Festival has expanded to four giant nights of national talent to be held from Wednesday September 27 – Saturday September 30. Altercation Comedy firmly believes in the relationship between fan and performer. With that in mind the festival intentionally holds all performances at one primary location, Kick Butt Coffee, Music & Booze, offering premium stage views and guarantee access to every show with a festival pass. Simply put, this is a comedy festival for true comedy fans, held in ideal setting. Intimate. Hilarious. Distnctly Austin.
