Put the Black Keys and early Kings of Leon together and you will get a sound much like that of Canadian southern garage rock duo “Black Pistol Fire”. With a little help from their producer Jim Diamond (Von Blondie’s, White Stripes) they recently completed a successful European tour. Perhaps they are the best band from Detroit, that isn’t from Detroit. Their songs are A little Motown, a little Rock n Roll just at a more danceable tempo. Their new EP just came out in January and they are currently working on an LP.
