Musician and artist Bob Schneider has become an Austin music scene staple, weaving through stories with his familiar baritone.
Prolific musician Bob Schneider’s continuous and unexpected output mitigates a cross-section of genres including rock, pop, folk, funk, and country, all coated in Schneider’s catchy melodies and off-kilter delivery. His newest release, “King Kong Vol.II” – second in the three-EP series dubbed the King Kong Suite – was released in June, enshrined in Schneider’s own collage-work. A meeting between orchestral pop, broken bluesy rock, and funky synth grooves, the EP features a series of lush arrangements, Schneider’s passionate vocal delivery, and a list of new curiosities, including an ode to Han Solo. “Vol. III” of the King Kong Suite is due to be released this fall.
