It takes a lot of talent to be included on a list of the best living songwriters alongside legends like Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney and Tom Waits. Austin- based singer-songwriter David Dondero has that talent. He was included on NPR’s All Things Considered list of the “best living songwriters” in 2006. Dondero began his career in the mid-90s, playing with various bands until he decided to split and go solo. Since his solo departure in 1998, he’s released nine albums across several labels.
