Gabriel Kelley @ KUT 11/1/12

Nashville based musician Gabriel Kelley seemingly went backwards through the music industry. Kelley got started out writing songs for a music publishing company in Nashville, but the job of writing songs-of-the-moment for other people didn’t suit him. So he quit, and started writing his own material, eventually finding funding for his debut album through a successful Kickstarter campaign. Kelley’s music is fluid, often changing genres or sounds to suit the feeling and to match the writing and message of the song. More often than not, though, Gabriel Kelley can be described as a sort of country/folk singer-songwriter. Gabriel Kelley will play a show at the Parish on Monday. Earlier today, he stopped by KUT to record a live session. Check it out now!
