Austin gets its first cult movie musical double feature this summer!
Heathers, the Musical has just made its regional debut at the Salvage Vanguard Theater, and the sardonic tale is also being paired up with midnight cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show for a live double feature. The relatively new musical is based on the homicidal high school tale from the ’80’s cult teen movie Heathers and this weekly collision of the garish and morbid is being put together by DoctuhMistuh Productions. “Chaos is what killed the dinosaurs, darling.”
You can catch the live performances of Heathers, the Musical and the Rocky Horror Picture Show, both together and separately, at the Salvage Vanguard Theater through July 11th.
