Jake Lloyd is a sonic explorer. Songs on his new album, MoonLit Mornings, move seamlessly from R&B to Soul to Rock n’ Roll all in the course of single track. When asked how he categorized his music, Jake just called it “hip hop/soul.” That may be an oversimplification but it certainly captures his genre-bending approach to making music. Jake Lloyd has been teasing singles off the new album but we think the best way to experience the new music is in person.
