Austin-based singer-songwriter Jazz Mills might be best known as half of Cowboy and Indian, an indie rock duo that popped up quite by accident during South by Southwest 2010. She was simply playing a show with Jesse Plemons (of Friday Night Lights and Breaking Bad fame), and people started clamoring for more. So they became Cowboy and Indian. Soon enough, Plemons had to head back to LA, so Mills kept the band going with support from other musician friends. Now, Jazz Mills finds herself embarking on a solo career, the career she meant to have before she got swept up in this Cowboy and Indian business.
Jazz Mills recently stopped by Studio 1a to record a live session for KUTX. Check it out here!
