Leather Girls’ bluesy garage rock sound may fall in the same vein as The Dead Weather, though Leather Girls offer much more grit and doom. They officially burst onto the Austin scene last year with a self-titled album of 13 fast, gnarly punk rock. Next up, they take on Hot Summer Nights at Barracuda with A Giant Dog, Big Bill, and Moving Panoramas. Whew. Check their Studio 1A set below to get a taste.
