Little Radar at KUTX 8.5.13

Little Radar may be a favorite of music listeners around Austin, but they’re a KUTX favorite, as well. The Austin-based band has been featured on our own Austin Music Minute, Texas Music Matters, and Song of the Day. One of their shows was also filmed as part of The Good Music Club, curated by one of our coolest DJs, Laurie Gallardo. The band, comprised of Sean Hale, Trevor Hale, Grant Himmler, and Derek Woodruff, started making waves in the Austin music biz after releasing a fun, spirited video of a pool party for their awesome single “Spitfire”, filmed almost entirely underwater on a GoPro camera and later featured on many GoPro social media outlets. They release their first full-length album, “Souvenirs,” this August.

Little Radar plays an exciting mix of indie rock, folk, and psych music, and WE were psyched to have them in our studio on Monday, August 5th. They also play a show at Stubb’s BBQ on Saturday, August 10th, so don’t miss out on your chance to catch this band live!
