“For me, the music comes first.” Marco Benevento makes his belief clear in his recent visit to KUTX’s Studio 1A. As a master of his craft, Benevento displays his piano prowess while performing songs from his newest album Let it Slide, released in September, 2019. Having made his name in the New York jazz scene with the Benevento/Russo Duo alongside frequent collaborator Joe Russo, Benevento has enjoyed returning to his original vocal pursuits as a musician.
