Mike Doughty made an appearance in Studio 1A this past Wednesday. Doughty first gained wide recognition as the lead singer of Soul Coughing. After a period of emotionally taxing events, the band broke up, and Doughty decided to take on the American interstate highways as a solo artist. During this period, Doughty strove to find his deeper inner voice and now sits on a plethora of solo material. He’s on tour to support his latest release, Circles, Super Bon Bon, and The Very Best Of Soul Coughing, a collection of reinterpretations of old Soul Coughing songs. Things have really come full circle for Doughty!
