If it wasn’t already clear, Mopac is Austin born-and-raised. This psych-rock outfit represents everything great about Texas music. They’ve got it all: bluesy guitars, chilled out psych vocals, and bubbly basslines that border on math rock. The group took a break from the ATX traffic to record their newest album, Kayfabe, up north in Denton.
