The Red Dirt Rangers hail from Stillwater, Oklahoma, the birthplace of the very genre of music, Red Dirt Music, that these guys helped create. The genre is a mix of folk, alt-country, blues, and bluegrass, and the Rangers are known for their deep connection with this unique musical variety. Brad Piccolo (guitar, vocals), John Cooper (mandolin, percussion, vocals), and Ben Han (lead guitar, vocals) make up the band, and they have toured all over the nation throughout their almost two-decade career. The band released five albums and they have been featured on five compilations, and their newest album, Lone Chimney, was funded by a successful Kickstarter campaign.
