American singer-songwriter Thoa Ngyuen released her first album in 2005. Influenced by folk, country and hip hop, she began writing and playing music at the age of 12. She tours both as a solo artist as well as with the band Thao and the Get Down Stay Down. Throughout the years she has collaborated with numerous artists including Zach Rogue, Justin Power and Merrill Garbus.
