The Adrian Ruiz Quintet will be paying tribute to the Blue Note Era of the late 1950s/early 1960s at Parker Jazz Club on Sunday, February 17.
Since 1939, this iconic record label has been dedicated in presenting some of the finest jazz recordings. These albums continue to be held in high regard by generations of listeners and musicians alike. The Adrian Ruiz Quintet is excited to pay tribute to the Blue Note Era of the late 1950s/early 1960s, as the group presents deep cuts by the following composers: Tina Brooks, Kenny Dorham, Jimmy Heath, Freddie Hubbard, Joe Henderson, Hank Mobley, Lee Morgan, Wayne Shorter, and Horace Silver.
